Hard Questions: Can We Trust the Bible?

  • May 17, 2020 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Is the Bible just a book of myths or is it grounded in truth? To adapt a CS Lewis line: The Bible, if false, is of no importance, and, if true, of infinite importance. The one thing it cannot be is moderately important.

Our speaker will be Martin Povey, who lives in the UK and frequently gives talks on evidence for Christianity. He will be calling in at 1am in the UK!

Martin will present for about 20 minutes from a Christian perspective, and then anyone can ask questions or make comments for another 40 minutes.

We welcome friendly disagreement, so please feel free to speak up!

The “Hard Questions” group is for anyone interested in a friendly dialogue between Christians, atheists, agnostics, skeptics, and anyone else with an inquiring mind.
